The Illinois State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) is asking IAPA Members to donate any extra N95 masks, gloves, gowns or face shields that are not needed for its own employee's protection to assist with COVID-19 response operations. If your company has any to donate, please send an e-mail to Gene Felchner at SEOC.IDOTH@illinois.gov to coordinate a process to pick up any donated PPE. Thanks very much for your consideration.
The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials has sent a
letter
requesting that the federal government provide funding to ensure state transportation revenue lost due to COVID-19 are supported and that recovery funds are dedicated to the transportation system.
Please do not hesitate to contact me directly with any questions. Thank you.
