Reopening Community Access Programs
Message from Andrea Hesse, CEO
To assist service providers in planning for the relaunch of services that may have been suspended or delivered in limited or alternate formats, ACDS has developed a guidance document titled, Reopening Community Access Programs: A Decision-Making and Planning Tool . The guidance document will assist organizations with risk assessment and planning. This document will be updated as new information becomes available, including any guidance or restrictions issued by Community and Social Services (CSS) or Alberta Health. We are also consulting with CSS on the development of program-specific guidance. A key point that we are currently seeking clarification on, is any formal restriction or timeline for community access or day programs recommencing programming. We will keep you updated as we gain clarity on this.
CSS' Weekly Q&A on COVID-19
This week’s  Q&A for disability service providers  was released this morning. The Q&A addresses Alberta’s relaunch strategy, virtual service delivery, and more.

ACDS will forward questions to CSS informed by you, so please continue to bring issues and questions forward to us at covid19@acds.ca. Regional Service Provider Council Chairs can also access this process on your behalf.
