Dear Montgomery TennisPlex Community,

At the request of the Montgomery County Park Department, your TennisPlex will not be allowed to stay open and run the reorganized programs we had planned.

We, at the Plex, realizing the benefit would be great to our students to create a safe, healthy environment in which they might continue to play tennis, tried to adjust schedules and take precautions which would have allowed for healthy play at the Plex.

Unfortunately, we have been advised by MNCPPC that they do not wish us to stay open.  We realize that our students and patrons will be very disappointed. However, we must all support the decisions that have been made to protect the public health.

Many of you will have questions about refunds for classes, court time and other prepaid items. Once we are clear on a date that we can reopen, we will be better prepared to assess the answer to those questions. We ask for your patience in this matter. We hope that this will not continue for too long, so please bear with us.

On the theory that whatever can go wrong, will go wrong, we are in the middle of revising our website. We will not have a website up and running until Friday of this week. Thereafter, we will be in a position to respond to messages.

Our team will not be at the TennisPlex during this time, so please do not call or send emails. We will keep you up to date on events as they unfold.

 Looking forward to reopening soon.
