Small Business Development Center and Small Business Legal Clinic | Webinar on Thursday, June 18 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. about the legal considerations for reopening your business space during the COVID-19 crisis. The CARES Act| Financial assistance is available for contract, gig, and self-employed workers who have lost income due to COVID-19 impacts. Information on the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) program is available here.

Paycheck Protection Act | Payroll funding assistance though the Paycheck Protection Act is again available to small businesses. This program helps business owners retain good employees whether or not the business is active, by providing funds for continued employment event if the business is temporarily closed. This support is structured as a loan which is forgiven if the business has met certain requirements during the loan period. Contact the local Small Business Administration office or your local bank for the latest information.

The CARES Act | Those who have exhausted regular unemployment benefits may apply for a 13 week extension through Pandemic Extension Unemployment Assistance (PEUA). Click here for more information.
