As you know Governor Pritzker just issued a statewide shelter in place order that begins tomorrow at 5pm. What does that mean for you? Below are some key points:
- Stay home if you can. Shelter in place means to simply stay home. Non-essential personnel should be sent home until at least April 7th.
Per the Illinois Manufacturers' Association - MANUFACTURERS CAN SELF DETERMINE WHETHER THEY REMAIN OPEN OR CLOSED AT THIS TIME.
- Understand what resources are available to you. U.S. Small Business Administration approved Governor Pritzker's application for an economic injury declaration due to COVID-19. Now small businesses across the state of Illinois are eligible to apply for Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) through the SBA. Click HERE to learn more and apply for assistance.
- Workforce Needs. We know this crisis puts a serious strain on workforce. Some of you have had to send your workers home, others need more employees to meet the incredible need you're now faced with. If you have displaced workers, they can contact us for help. - Safe Childcare. In his address the governor commented that they are working on safe, dependable childcare options for working Illinoisans. As those options are rolled out we will get that information to you immediately.
