To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents and employees, the
Public Works Facility and the Historical Museum will be closed to the public starting on Friday, March 13 and Village Hall will be closed to the public starting on Monday, March 16. These closures will be in effect until further notice. Staff will still be available to conduct Village services by phone, email or by appointment as appropriate. Other facilities, including the Police Station, will remain open to the public.
NOTE: Village Hall will be open on Tuesday, March 17 for the Illinois Primary Election, though there will be no in-person Village services.
Village Staff will be working to ensure the continued delivery of important services, such as building permits and real estate transfers and will communicate alternate service delivery methods as information becomes available.
Services such as utility bill payment, vehicle sticker renewals and invoice payments

The Village of Wilmette is
canceling all public meetings through March 20. This includes Zoning Board of Appeals; open houses for the Neighborhood Stormwater Storage Project and the Skokie Boulevard and Lake Avenue Intersection Improvements; and Administrative Adjudication. The Village will communicate details regarding the rescheduling of these meetings when it's available.
These decisions were made based upon guidance from the CDC, which recommends limiting in-person interactions to prevent exposure and spread of COVID-19. As always, the Village's top priority is to promote the health and safety of our customers, employees and community.
