August 29, 2020

Dear North Royalton City Schools’ community,

It has come to our attention that one of our band members who performed last evening has symptoms related to COVID-19.  That band member is in the process of seeking a medical diagnosis.  Based on information from the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, we must treat this situation as a probable case which means all senior band members, drumline, band front and field commanders who performed Friday night must quarantine for 14 days beginning today, August 29.  Band members and directors have been notified and will be monitoring their health closely for any COVID-19 symptoms including fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, diarrhea, and loss of taste or smell, that may arise over the next 14 days.   If no symptoms present, all can resume normal activities on Sunday, September 13, 2020.

We encourage everyone to please help our programs and District remain safe by following the recommended safety protocols:  How to Protect Yourself and Others.

Thank you for your continued support of our students and programs.
