Thank you for your time today. I’m writing to follow up on a few items we discussed, and to share some additional updates on some COVID-19-related items.
Limiting COVID-19 Liability for Schools
Assembly Member O’Donnell is moving to have AB 1384 considered by the Assembly Judiciary Committee next week. We have added a folder to the Superintendents' COVID-19 Repository Google Drive called "Resources, Articles, and Ideas" for you to place COVID-19-related documents you wish to share with each other. This repository is for superintendents only; each superintendent received an invitation via email in May to access the Google Drive. If you need assistance accessing the folder, please contact

The San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) has yet to receive our region's supply of PPE from the state. SDCOE will position the supplies at our regional education centers for pickup by districts and charters; we will be in touch when the materials are available.
COVID-19-Related Products Available
SDCOE's Graphic Productions team is available to support your reopening signage needs. The team offers a variety of stickers, flyers, posters, and banners that can be customized to include district or charter logos and colors, as well as face shields and plexiglass shields. Other branded specialty products such as sanitizer, magnets, and masks are available on request.

Registrar of Voters Update
Due to COVID-19, and to maintain the six-foot social distancing requirements for the health and safety of candidates and employees, the Registrar of Voters (ROV) has modified the candidate filing process for the Nov. 3 election.
Thank you for all you are doing to support our region’s children during these unprecedented times. As always, please don't hesitate to get in touch if I can be of assistance.
