COVID-19 UPDATE
Dear EPVC clients,

In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to reach out to keep you posted on what Encino Park Veterinary Clinic will be doing to help comply with not only the CDC recommendations for humans, but also the AAHA and AVMA recommendations for pets.

Our first priority has been and always will be the health and safety of you and your pets. As always, we will go above and beyond to ensure we are providing a safe, clean, and sanitary health care facility for you and your pets. We will be taking additional precautions to do our part to minimize any additional risk to our clients and staff members for spread of COVID-19.

We will continue normal business hours this week and for the foreseeable future. We are, however, encouraging drop off appointments and curbside appointments to comply with the “social distancing” recommendation from the CDC. For curbside and drop off appointments, a staff member with meet you outside to bring your animal into the hospital. Examination, diagnostics, and treatments of your pet are done in hospital while communication takes place with you in your car or at home over the phone. While drop offs and curbside services are still optional, we may move towards making them mandatory depending on evolving CDC information and recommendations.

It is recommended that food and prescriptions be brought to your car by staff members. Calling in advance to request and make payment for food and prescriptions is requested so that we can make your trip as efficient as possible. Prescription and food requests may be made through the VitusVet app or by calling the clinic. Additionally, food, supplements, and prescriptions may be ordered online and delivered to your home through Vetsource, our online pharmacy (there is a link on our website  www.encinoparkvet.com ).

Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated. We are so grateful for our Encino Park Veterinary Clinic extended family and appreciate your help and cooperation as we navigate this unprecedented situation. Rest assured, your pets will continue to receive the highest quality of veterinary care and service. As always, please feel free to reach out to use if you have any questions or concerns.

Stay healthy!
