Let's Work Together
I'm sure many of you have seen the news and perhaps some of the comments on Facebook discussing the outbreak at Tabor Home. It's sad to see some of the inaccurate and misleading information that is out there and it's even more heartbreaking to see the negative comments that come with that. These news stories and comments can be quite disheartening, especially for our staff to see.
Unfortunately, we cannot control what the media puts out about us, but we do ask all of you as part of our Tabor family to come to us with any questions or concerns you may have. Don't believe everything you read in the news or listen to every comment you come across. Experiencing any fear or anxiety around the protocols, policies, communication or case numbers? Unsure of how we are responding to this outbreak? Wondering what you can do to help? Reach out to myself or any of our leadership team to get the facts, to hear the real story, and to learn how you can be a supporter during this difficult time.
We send out daily emails to our Tabor Home families and staff. We make weekly phone calls to every Tabor Home family with updates on their loved ones and we just completed our first Townhall meeting with Tabor Home families. We include updates on Tabor Home to the rest of our Tabor family Village wide every Friday and are always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
How Can You Help?
- PRAY! Pray for quick healing and recovery of all residents and staff who tested positive, for continued health and protection for those who test negative, and for comfort for all those grieving the loss of loved ones at this time.
- Drop some cards off for residents and/or staff with words of encouragement, prayers, and well wishes.
- See a negative news story or comment? Drop a positive comment in there and be a positive ambassador for Tabor in the community. Point people to us to address their concerns.
- Do you have a question or concern regarding the Tabor Home outbreak? Reach out anytime and we're happy to chat with you.

We're all family here at Tabor and we're in this together. We are trusting and believing for healing and recovery to wash over Tabor Home and may we get back to be a completely COVID-FREE Village... and everyone said AMEN!
Be Kind. Be Calm. Stay Safe.
Have you heard Dr. Bonnie Henry's most recent announcement? The message is simple, stay home. We all want this pandemic to come to an end, therefore, we all must do our part to limit the spread of the virus. Stay home as much as possible. Wear your mask, wash your hands, and keep your distance. This has been an incredibly hard year and with Christmas just around the corner, it's sadly not getting any easier, but we still need to do our part.
Praying for God to heal our people and our land. We're all in this together.
