COVID-19 Update
Dear Families and Friends of Tabor Village:

Keeping Our Bubbles Small and Our Distance Big
We trust you have all been enjoying the summer months and the looser restrictions.
With summer coming to an end, we ask that you continue being mindful of the global pandemic that sadly is still a part of our world, especially for those in healthcare.

School is starting back up again, but the usual Fall routine is looking much different than previous years. Many of our social bubbles will be growing simply due to the fact that kids are back in school. While we adjust to the new normal, we ask that you keep a close eye on your social bubble. Keep it small, keep your distance, and do everything you can to keep yourself and your family away from COVID-19.

Thank you for continuing to walk this journey with us. We are grateful for everything you are doing to keep safe and to keep COVID-19 out of Tabor Village.

Keep going strong Tabor family!
Visitation Survey: Tell Us How We're Doing!
Thank you to all those who have already completed this Visitation Review survey. It is highly beneficial for us to know where everyone is at and to be aware of the feelings and experiences you are having with the process.

For those of you who have not yet completed the survey, it takes only 5 minutes of your time and would greatly help us improve our systems.

Below is a link to this 5 minute survey on visitation with room for comments throughout. We appreciate your time in helping us improve and do better.

We have also included a link to the updated results of those that have come in thus far. Check it out below.
Seniors Advocate BC Asking for Feedback
Not only are we wanting feedback for our own Tabor protocols and systems, but so is Seniors Advocate BC. If you're interested, this is your opportunity to make your voices heard a little louder by the province.

Visit the link below to take the survey from Seniors Advocate BC.

Thanks to all of you generous giving hearts out there, we have raised
of the $100,000 goal for our COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund.

Now, THAT is worth celebrating! THANK YOU!
Happy Labour Day Long Weekend!
We are celebrating Labour Day long weekend by honouring our amazing team of staff. We have some truly dedicated and special people here who work hard and selflessly serve the older adults of Tabor Village with compassion, respect, and 'Care from the Heart'.

We are grateful for every healthcare hero who is part of our team and it is our honour and privilege to serve both you and your loved ones.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity.
Thanks to a very generous sponsor, Envision Financial, we are able to put on another virtual event for all of you.

Sunday, September 27th at 2pm, catch Calvin Dyck LIVE for some musical fun with the VIS Concertmaster himself. We'll have a professional videographer helping with the filming and livestream. All YOU need to do is grab your favourite snack and tune into our YouTube channel.

All proceeds will go towards our COVID-19 Relief Fund to help with the astronomical costs of PPE and other much-needed supplies that have drastically increased due to the pandemic. You have been so faithful and generous in helping us fill this need and this virtual event is just one more step in getting us across the finish line of the $100,000 goal.

We value family and as you are part of our Tabor family, your trust in us is pivotal as we continue to care for your loved ones. We strive to always 'Care from the Heart' with authenticity and Christian compassion and respect. We're working hard to ensure you are kept up to date and can rest assured that your loved one is in the best care.

As we are always striving to be better and to do better, please take just a minute of your time to let us know what we're doing well. If there is anything you would like to see done differently, don't hesitate to send us an email or give us a call.

Your feedback can only make us better!
Will You Take Up The Challenge?
Restrictions might be loosening around the province, but for healthcare workers, not much has changed. With the Province opening up, there is higher risk of spread, which means Personal Protective Equipment is more important than ever.
PPE is in extremely high demand and the prices are astronomical. We have roughly 260 residents Village wide, which means there are 260 families. If every family gave $220 today, we would reach the total $100,000 goal to cover these increasingly high expenses of necessary supplies.

Donations have been coming in with your $220, let's keep going strong until we reach our goal. Together, we will cross that finish line.
Will you take up the challenge and give $220 as a family?
