Charleston County and Fetter Health Care Network Administer COVID-19 Vaccines Tomorrow
On Wednesday, March 3, Charleston County is partnering with Fetter Health Care Network to administer COVID-19 vaccines at New Bethlehem Baptist Church located at 1945 Liberia Road, Wadmalaw Island, SC 29487. Vaccines will be available from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to eligible citizens on a first come, first served basis. 

Citizens under Phase 1 A are eligible to receive a vaccine. That includes anyone 65 and older, health care workers, a parent of a medically fragile child, and critical essential workers defined by the South Carolina Department of Health. More at scdhec.gov.

Citizens will fill out paperwork on-site and need to bring a Personal Photo ID, an Employment photo ID (if applicable), an Insurance card, or social security number if they do not have insurance.

Emergency Restrictions
The Town is operating under Emergency Ordinance 2021-02which requires face coverings and other emergency restrictions to address COVID-19 until March 2, 2021, and will be replaced by Ordinance 2021-03, after second reading which establishes emergency restrictions that shall remain in place until December 31, 2021, or until the Governor allows the current State of Emergency to expirewhichever date comes first.
Vaccinations
As of Monday, February 8, any South Carolina resident aged 65 or older, regardless of health status or preexisting conditions, is able to schedule their appointment to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. More
