State of Michigan Expands COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility

Beginning Monday, March 8:
  • People aged 50 and older with medical conditions or disabilities which are outlined in more detail here.
  • Caregivers or family members and guardians who care for children with special health care needs

Beginning Monday, March 22:
  • All people 50 years of age and older

We are currently vaccinating individuals age 65 and older, as well as essential frontline workers according to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) COVID-19 vaccination plan. We are working to expand our process to ensure all eligible residents can be vaccinated. Vaccine supplies remain limited, so we are asking for continued patience. Save Your Spot

In order to get the vaccine, you must register! To be notified when you are eligible to make an appointment for a vaccine, visit vaccinatewestmi.com/register/ and click on one provider and complete a COVID-19 vaccination registration. As doses become available, eligible individuals will be contacted by that provider to make an appointment.
Latest Michigan Epidemic Order

On March 2, MDHHS Director Elizabeth Hertel announced a new epidemic order easing COVID-19 restrictions in the state. Restaurants will be allowed to have 50% indoor capacity with an extended curfew of 11 p.m. The Order also increases the limits for private indoor gatherings to 15 people from different households and outdoor gatherings to 300.
