COVID-19 Vaccinations Available Soon for Students, Families, and Staff at RCSD Schools
The Rochester City School District is partnering with Walgreens to provide COVID vaccinations to all students, families, and staff. On Wednesday, June 2, the District will host two vaccination clinics at the Jefferson Campus, 1 Edgerton Park, and the Franklin Campus, 950 Norton Street.

These walk-in clinics will run from 2 to 6 p.m., and no appointments are necessary. The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will be administered to students 12 years of age and older. Walgreens will also have a limited supply of Johnson and Johnson one dose-vaccinations for anyone 18 years of age and older.

Additionally, because of the District’s partnership with Walgreens, it will soon be able to offer COVID-19 vaccination clinics at nearly every school in the District. Students and families will be receiving information next week. Walgreens staff will be administering the vaccinations.

Superintendent Lesli Myers-Small said, “It’s partnerships like these that will help protect all of us in the community from COVID-19. We are so grateful for this opportunity to get more and more individuals vaccinated.”

In March of 2021, Walgreens provided a total of 800 vaccinations for RCSD employees at two separate clinics.
