IMPORANT COVID-19 Vaccine Information
**DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL**

Good afternoon,
You are receiving this email as someone who has submitted the COVID-19 vaccine Phase 1B survey of intent for individuals over the age of 65 in the Blue Ridge Health District (Albemarle, Charlottesville, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson). If you submitted the survey for two people with the same email address, you will only receive this email once.

Starting tomorrow, February 9, 2021, CVS Pharmacy will open registration for individuals ages 65 and older to receive a COVID-19 vaccine at the CVS Pharmacy 5th located at 1133 5th St SW in Charlottesville, Va.

Since you completed the BRHD survey of vaccine intent, you are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine at the local CVS Pharmacy. When registering through CVS, you must select "yes" to both questions: 1) "Are you 65 years older(sic) or above?" and 2) "Have you been notified by a local health department that you can book an appointment.” COVID-19 vaccines at this CVS Pharmacy are only available to individuals 65+. They will have very limited appointments.

We want to assure you that you will remain on the BRHD vaccine waitlist to get a COVID-19 vaccine as BRHD expands to vaccinate the rest of Phase 1B. CVS Pharmacy is just one option for how you can get vaccinated. We will continue to provide updates as more opportunities arise to be vaccinated through other pharmacies, primacy care providers, federally qualified health centers, etc.

To schedule an appointment, please visit the CVS Pharmacy website. All appointments will be handled directly through CVS Pharmacy and are first come, first served.

BRHD is not involved in CVS scheduling and cannot assist anyone in scheduling an appointment through CVS Pharmacy.

While we are excited about this extension in vaccination opportunities in our District, COVID-19 vaccines remain limited and CVS Pharmacy will have limited appointments. Options for getting a COVID-19 vaccine will continue to expand over the coming months.

Thank you,
Blue Ridge Health District
