Dear Chamber Members,

We have received updated links to helpful websites and additional information for resources available for businesses.

The state of Oklahoma has created a micro-site for all links related to COVID-19 (coronavirus), http://covidresources.ok.gov/ . This site will continuously be updated and grow as information gets updated or more information becomes available.

Oklahoma Department of Commerce has created a single point of contact for businesses needing assistance. Ray Little is the Business and Retention and Expansion Director and his contact information is [email protected]  or by phone at 405-815-5227.

Right now, we are still being directed to the SBA Disaster Relief Program (the website is linked on the the new website listed above). The application is expected to be online no later than Monday of next week.

The Family's First Coronavirus Response Act has been signed into law this week. This is the paid sick leave, free coronavirus testing, expanded food assistance, unemployment benefits, and employer requirement to provide additional protections for health care workers. This law is being closely monitored to see how it will affect response in our state.

Conway is a global “strategic” economic development entity that has provided some very helpful information regarding “attracting” and “expanding” local economies. The webinar is free and is on March 27th. To register please click HERE .

As your local Chamber of Commerce, we welcome any comments, information or feedback about how this is affecting your business, or concerns about the future. Please feel free to email or call me and I will collect information to relay on your behalf.

Thank you all, and again I look forward to meeting you all when we are past the times of social distancing.

Sincerely,

Ashley Snyder
