Our Response to COVID-19: Information

Good evening,
Yesterday, I indicated we were within a week of confirming 7 million global cases of COVID-19. The sudden acceleration in Brazil, India, Chile, Mexico and countries in the Middle East and Africa will bring the world's amount to 7 million cases this coming Sunday and we will pass 400,000 deaths on Saturday. Earlier today, Brazil's worst day has reached the apex of the US daily report set in late March. I believe that number will be eclipsed within a few hours.

NEW DELHI/MUMBAI (Reuters) - Rural parts of India have begun to see a surge in novel coronavirus infections, as millions of migrant workers returning from big cities and industrial hubs bring the virus home with them, according to data collected from seven Indian states.
'In the eastern state of Bihar, official data showed that of the 3,872 coronavirus cases recorded until June 1, 2,743 were linked to migrants workers who returned after May 3, when the government began to run trains and buses to reduce the exodus on foot."
