SMALL BUSINESS INNOVATION RESEARCH (SBIR) CONTRACTS: NEW DATA RIGHTS PROVISIONS FROM DoD.
The Department of Defense (DoD) class deviation addressing SBIR contracts will cause contracts with the new language to provide SBIR Data Rights protection for 20 years from the first award instead of the traditional five years after final award.

HHS (Health and Human Services)
HHS published  NOT-OD-20-099 indicating that the new PHS 2020 Omnibus Solicitations of the NIH, CDC, and FDA for Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR, R43/44) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR, R41/42)) Grant Applications are scheduled to be published on May 22, 2020.  Modifications to these FOAs will be the inclusion of new and revised research priorities.
 
Standard Due Dates: Sept, 8, 2020, December 7, 2020 and April 5, 2021
