Important updates on COVID-19
  • Dental Guidelines DHHS issued another Directed Health Measures naming the following counties: Sioux, Scotts Bluff, Banner, Kimball, Dawes, Box Butte, Morrill, Cheyenne, Sheridan, Garden, Deuel, and Grant counties effective immediately and continuing until May 11, 2020. 
  • The following link provides Interim Infection Prevention and Control Guidance for Dental Settings during the COVID-19 Response.

  • Recommendations and additional updates from the Nebraska Dental Association may be found here. 

  • NACHC released a Cashflow and Payroll Options document for health centers that provides an overview of new programs that health centers can tap to cover revenue shortfalls and to help their employees make ends meet during this time. Document can be found here.

  • HRSA Requirements In an effort to respond quickly to questions and updates during the Coronavirus crisis, the Bureau of Primary Health Care has created a FAQ on everything from funding to FTCA to Quality Improvement. Document can be found here.

  • The Bureau of Health Workforce released Coronavirus FAQs related to National Health Service Corp and Nurse Corp. Important information on flexibilities for loan recipients, sites and scholars can be found here.

  • NACHC, in collaboration with BPHC’s FTCA Division and Feldesman Tucker Leifer Fidell (FTLF), will be holding an Office Hour to answer health center specific FTCA-related questions on Tuesday, April 7th from 1-2 Central. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Needs
Use the  CDC's Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Burn Rate Calculator   to make data driven decisions on PPE needs for your health center. This data will also help to prepare data directed advocacy efforts for our state health centers.  Each health center should fill out a survey for their specific public health department to make their needs for PPE known. You can find your health department’s Public Health Emergency Coordinator contact  here
