Blue Ash receives Auditor of State Award

with Distinction

The City of Blue Ash has received the Ohio Auditor of State Award with Distinction for excellence in financial reporting.

The award is the result of a clean audit report for 2019.

“To earn the Award with Distinction takes hard work and a committed fiscal team,” Ohio Auditor Keith Faber said. “Communities should be proud that stewards of tax dollars put in the extra effort to maintain clean records.”

Blue Ash Firefighters suited up and conducted search and rescue training using theatrical smoke at a home in the City of Blue Ash on Wednesday.

Temporary parking lot closures next week

Four parking lots in the City of Blue Ash will be temporarily closed from September 1 to September 3 for sealing work.

The parking lots at the following locations will be closed:

White Oak Park at the northwest corner of Cornell and Deerfield
Oak Park at Oak and Idalia
Service Department at 6131 Interstate Circle
Park Maintenance at 6171 Interstate Circle

Thank you for your patience as crews make these improvements.

Blue Ash Events: some surprises ahead!

The Blue Ash Events team is hard at work to bring you fun, socially-distanced things to do over the next several months.

More details will be released soon about some new, exciting events for the whole family.

We're hiring: Child Care Supervisor

The City of Blue Ash is accepting applications for a part-time Child Care Supervisor position within the Recreation Department.

Enthusiastic candidates must be able to work well with children and families. See the full job description and apply now.

Masks required and travel advisory

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced that masks are required statewide beginning July 23 at 6:00 p.m.

He also issued a travel advisory for all individuals coming into Ohio from states reporting positive COVID-19 testing rates of 15 percent or higher.
