For the health and safety of residents, guests, vendors and employees, the City of Blue Ash is announcing the difficult decision to cancel Red, White & Blue Ash on July 4, 2020, at Summit Park.
Due to the uncertainty over the spread of the coronavirus and future statewide orders for large gatherings, it was necessary to cancel the event earlier, rather than later, for the best interest of attendees, employees, sponsors and vendors.
“Red, White & Blue Ash is important to the Blue Ash community and it is important to us. It has been a major part of this City’s identity for decades. This decision was made with heavy hearts, but we believe it is the right thing to do,” said Blue Ash Parks and Recreation Director Brian Kruse. “We know how disappointing it is for the tens of thousands of guests who join us for the 4
th of July every year, and we share in that disappointment, but keeping everyone healthy and safe right now must take precedence.”
The only other time Red, White & Blue Ash has been cancelled was due to severe weather in 2005.
Thank you to the supporters, sponsors, vendors and employees who have worked together to make Red, White & Blue Ash one of the top fireworks shows in the country. The City of Blue Ash looks forward to working with you again to bring the community together for incredible Red, White & Blue Ash celebrations in 2021 and beyond.
Thank you to presenting sponsors MSA Design, Kroger, Toyota and WARM98.5, and additional sponsors Cumulus Radio (94.1Cat Country, FOX92.5, 103.5WGRR, and 96Rock), DoubleTree Suites, WCPO, Miller Coors, Coca Cola, Academy Rental Group, Cincinnati Catering and Concessions, and Arthur Rozzi Pyrotechnics.
