Dear Students,
At the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District (GCCCD) we are committed to providing a safe and healthy campus and classroom environment for students to continue their learning. It is important we reopen our campuses to help those of you who have asked for on campus courses and access to in person student services.
Please be advised that anyone enrolling in short-term, “late-start” classes that begin October 11 or later and that are held on the Grossmont College campus is required to be fully vaccinated by October 1. You are considered fully vaccinated 14 days after your final vaccination shot.
In addition, anyone enrolling in an on-campus, short-term course who is seeking a religious or medical exemption must submit an exemption request (see links to forms below) no later than October 1 for sessions beginning October 11 or later. Exemption requests submitted after that date will not be considered.
If you have already submitted your vaccination documentation or already have an approved exemption, please disregard this notice.
SUBMITTING VACCINE DOCUMENTATION
One of the following documents are acceptable:
1. A scan or photo of the front of your COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card,
3. A scan or photo of a medical document from your doctor.
All the above must include the dates of your vaccination and the manufacturer brand (Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson).
REQUESTING AN EXEMPTION
Exemptions will be considered for medical and religious reasons only. Students with approved exemptions will be required to test weekly for COVID-19. Reviews may take up to two weeks.
