COVID -19 Updates from the City of Blue Ash
The City of Blue Ash has a comprehensive list of changes and plans due to COVID-19 on t his page of our website . Here are some recent additions:

  • The Blue Ash Golf Course reopened on April 2, with strict guidelines for social distancing.
  • Mayor's Court cases have been postponed until May 13.
  • The City Council workshop on April 9 at 7:00 p.m. will be conducted via Zoom. Details on how to view the live stream coming soon.

Blue Ash Fire Department seeks donations and thanks those who have contributed
The Blue Ash Fire Department wishes to thank those individuals who have made donations of masks and shields.Your generous donations are greatly appreciated. BAFD is seeking donations of N95 masks, surgical masks and gowns. Please call 513-745-8533 to make a donation. Read more.
Blue Ash Police and Fire make birthdays special
for local children
Has your child's birthday party been cancelled by COVID-19?

The Blue Ash Police and Fire Departments want to cheer them up with a lights-and-sirens birthday parade! (See a video of one of the parades here, and watch LOCAL 12's story here.)

If you are a resident of Blue Ash and your child would enjoy having the Blue Ash Police Department and Fire Department drive by and deliver a happy birthday message complete with lights and sirens - click here to learn how to sign up.

Social and physical distancing will be strictly followed during the appearance.
Opportunities to help your neighbors
The Blue Ash YMCA has transformed into a State of Ohio Licensed Pandemic Child Care Center for children 3-12 years old to support essential personnel.
Its program is currently operating Monday-Friday from 6:30am-6:00pm. The cost of the program is $35 per day.

Sycamore Bridges is accepting donations as volunteers continue to provide assistance to residents in the Sycamore School District. The organization is teaming up with Operation Give Back to deliver food to those in need.

Operation Give Back is working to help all residents of Blue Ash in need. If you are experiencing food insecurity, OGB has a community food pantry on-site, 10891 Millington Court, and is ready to help at this time of need. Call 513-489-2023 for more information.
Business assistance and guidance
The Blue Ash Economic Development website has a new list of business resources here.

The Blue Ash Business Association is compiling a comprehensive list of local business information here. If you are a Blue Ash business owner you can help by providing BABA with the following information:
  • special offers a business might be offering
  • a notice that the business is still open
  • a notice that the business is involved in a community response to the situation, such as the Blue Ash YMCA transitioning to a day camp for the children of health care workers
  • a notice that even though the business might be closed, gift cards can still be purchased for when the business reopens

HCDC has information about disaster loans and assistance for businesses.

The Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber is providing daily COVID-19 updates and has a helpline for businesses.
Join the fitness team for video chats
and virtual classes
Blue Ash Parks and Recreation is using technology in new and exciting ways to help you stay fit and healthy while practicing social distancing. 
Now, you can join the team of fitness trainers and the dietitian from the Blue Ash Recreation Center as they go virtual to help you meet your exercise, wellness, and dietary goals.
Every Monday at noon, you can get advice, ask questions, and stay motivated through a Zoom video chat with the expert fitness staff.
Then throughout the week, you can get fit as trainers hold virtual exercise classes on Zoom, YouTube and on their websites.  
Parks: practice social distancing
As you continue to enjoy City Parks, we want to make sure you and our staff are healthy and safe. In an effort to do this, the Great Lawn at Summit Park has been closed until further notice. Please continue to practice social distancing and avoid gathering in groups of any size. To avoid shared spaces, the restroom facilities in our Parks continue to be closed. Spring Curbside Leaf Pickup
Spring Curbside Leaf Pickup will take place as scheduled on April 13. Please have leaves raked to the curb before 7:00 a.m.
