Council meeting highlights
Blue Ash City Council met last night at 7:00 p.m. via video-conference live on YouTube. Council was presented with options for potential upgrades to Towne Square and was given an update on the Plainfield/Hunt roundabout project. View the presentation slides here and watch the meeting on the City of Blue Ash YouTube Channel. A public input process regarding Towne Square improvements will be forthcoming.

Council also approved the 2019 Annual Report. It offers a summary of the major activity which occurred during the reporting year and a brief description of the year's highlights for each department and division of the City. View the full report here.

The Blue Ash Economic Development website has a list of resources to assist businesses during COVID-19 pandemic. Recent additions include:

  • JobsOhio, Peoples Bank and First Federal/Home Savings Bank announced they will partner to support existing small business clients in maintaining operations and payroll

  • U.S Chamber of Commerce webinars and resources for small businesses.

BLINK-created display brings cheer to Blue Ash

This building at 11500 Reed Hartman Highway in Blue Ash lights up in a nighttime patriotic display with the help of the creative minds behind BLINK. Vandercar CEO Rob Smyjunas said, “we wanted to shine light on our new flag and bring some happiness to Blue Ash.” #InThisTogetherOhio Like and share the image on Facebook.
Summit Park Sasquatch Hunt
Looking for some outdoor family fun? There have been some Sasquatch sightings at Summit Park! There are 20 Sasquatches images hiding all around the park for you and your children to find. Make sure to document your adventures and share them on social media with the hashtag #BigfootInBlueAsh. While you search the park, please remember to practice social distancing.
In the community
Charter recently announced it will not layoff employees for the next 60 days. This includes nearly 1,500 employees in Blue Ash. Read more on Twitter.
Sycamore grads and students are spearheading food drives and a fundraiser to raise money for Operation Give Back. Read more on Facebook.
