Council meeting:
email your comments and watch live
Blue Ash City Council will hold its next Council meeting via video-conference on April 23 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be live-streamed to the City of Blue Ash YouTube Channel.

While there will be no opportunity for citizen comment during the meeting, the public is encouraged to email comments related to agenda items or general communication in advance to [email protected]. Please type “Citizen Comment” in the subject line of your email. Comments should include your name and home address. They will be posted here (with email address redacted), reviewed by elected officials, and recorded with the meeting minutes.
 
If there are technical difficulties with the video conference, the meeting will be held via teleconference. To dial-in call (513) 278-2135 and enter the participant pin 670027#.

The Blue Ash Fire Department has released an educational video to help residents understand what to expect if first responders are called to their homes during the COVID-19 pandemic. View the video on YouTube.
Blue Ash Farmers Market

Get ready for a brand new way to experience the Blue Ash Farmers Market at Summit Park! Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Farmers Market will be set up as drive-thru. The plans for are still being finalized, so be sure to visit www.facebook.com/blueashfarmersmarket for the very latest information. The Blue Ash Farmers Market is every Wednesday at Summit Park from May 13-October 22, 3:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m.
In other news: Pipeline appeal
In late November, the Ohio Power Siting Board approved Duke Energy's Central Corridor Pipeline Project along the western (alternate) route.
On Wednesday, the City of Blue Ash filed a joint appeal to the Ohio Supreme Court opposing the Ohio Power Siting Board’s approval of the Duke Energy Central Corridor Pipeline Project. Evendale, Reading, and NOPE are also parties in the joint appeal.   Read more.

Infotrust, based in Blue Ash is seeking donations to purchase/produce masks for health care workers and has started a "No-Layoff Pledge." Read more.

Opportunities to help your neighbors
The Blue Ash YMCA has transformed into a State of Ohio Licensed Pandemic Child Care Center for children 3-12 years old to support essential personnel.
The program is currently operating Monday-Friday from 6:30am-6:00pm. The cost is $35 per day. For more information contact Erika Phillips at [email protected].

Sycamore Bridges is accepting donations as volunteers continue to provide assistance to residents in the Sycamore School District. The organization is teaming up with Operation Give Back to deliver food to those in need.

Operation Give Back is working to help all residents of Blue Ash in need. If you are experiencing food insecurity, OGB has a community food pantry on-site, 10891 Millington Court, and is ready to help at this time of need. Call 513-489-2023 for more information.
