Rent and Utility Assistance Available

The NC Housing Opportunities and Prevention of Evictions (HOPE) Program offers emergency rent and utility assistance to eligible households. Households with an income limit of 80 percent of the area median income for the county where the applicant lives may be eligible for this program.

HOPE Program is now taking landlord referrals, as well. Landlords whose tenants are struggling to pay rent due to the pandemic can submit names and contact information using the HOPE Program website.
