The American Institute of Architects has joined the list of organizations providing guidance on reoccupancy of buildings. The AIA toolkit recommends the use of portable room air cleaners with high-efficiency particulate air filters and includes the CDC model for the controls associated with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. ASHRAE has published a set of recommendations for operators planning to reopen buildings that were closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The guidance is published on the organization's COVID-19 Resources webpage.

Commercial real estate industry outlook falters amid growing uncertainty
The NAIOP CRE Sentiment Index for March 2020 is 45, falling below 50 for the first time since the index began in 2016. This is a substantial drop from September 2019, when the index was 57. The survey that informs the index was conducted March 11-25, a period of rapidly increasing economic uncertainty associated with the coronavirus outbreak. View the report .
