Dear BH and IDD Consumers, family members and community stakeholders,
We hope that you are staying healthy and well during the COVID-19 pandemic. We want to assure you that we are working around the clock here at DHHS in general, and DMHDDSAS in particular, to do whatever we can to prevent the interruption and delay of BH/IDD services as much as it is within our power to do so for our consumers.
The COVID-19 situation is evolving rapidly, and we all must work together to meet the needs of individuals, families and communities. In order to communicate our current and planned actions, and perhaps more importantly - hear directly from you about any questions or issues that have emerged since our last call- we are hosting another conference on Monday March 23, 2020 at 2:00pm.
While we want to share timely information from the Department, we also want this to be a discussion and opportunity for you to raise questions and offer insights as we work together and implement proactive and preventive actions to mitigate harm and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
