One of CP&A’s areas of expertise is to assist commercial, office, industrial, and residential property owners with redevelopment. We have had the privilege of working alongside Goodman with a recent repositioning project in the City of Cypress. Cypress is renowned for their business park corridor, which is primarily made up of office and industrial buildings. With remote working here to stay for many local and national brands, cities are looking into the future of office parks and discovering creative ways to re-envision and reposition those sites throughout jurisdictions across Southern California.
Our team has been working alongside Goodman to redevelop an underutilized industrial building into a state-of-the-art, LEED certified, sustainable, expansive manufacturing campus. We’re proud to announce that at the April 10, 2023 Cypress City Council meeting, Council members voted to approve a new Site Plan Review, a Tentative Parcel Map, and a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the redevelopment of the Goodman Commerce Center at 5757 Plaza Drive. The new campus will consist of two new sustainably designed warehouse buildings (combined 390,268 square feet). Both buildings consist of 10,000 square feet of office space and offer flexibility for modern manufacturing needs, which will continue to be a great asset for the City of Cypress for years to come.

CP&A is proud to be working with Circuit, an incredible micro-transit system that fulfills the first-mile, last-mile gap that’s experienced by municipalities around the world. Founded by James Mirras and Alex Esposito in 2011, Circuit works with innovative cities and forward-thinking advertising partners to offer electric shuttles that make mobility easier, smarter, more affordable, and fun.
CP&A, in partnership with Circuit, is working to establish their footprint in Orange County as the service would be a great fit for the many economic hubs in the county. Together, CP&A and Circuit have demonstrated Circuit’s success in solving mobility issues in cities like Huntington Beach. We’re proving that the service can be applied to any municipality with the right strategy in mind.
