| | | Katella Terrace Grand Opening | |
Curt Pringle & Associates is proud to celebrate the grand opening of Katella Terrace, a 74-unit affordable senior housing community in the heart of Orange. This milestone represents the culmination of years of collaboration among public, private, and nonprofit partners—united by a shared commitment to addressing the critical housing needs of Orange County’s senior population.
Developed by nonprofit, Orange Senior Housing, Inc., Katella Terrace serves seniors aged 62 and older with income-restricted units that include energy-efficient features, accessibility options, and on-site amenities like a fitness center, resident garden, and community room. The project not only provides high-quality housing, but also fosters a safe, service-rich environment where older adults can reside for years to come.
A key element of Katella Terrace’s success was navigating a highly complex funding structure that included multiple layers of public financing, state and federal tax credits, and regulatory compliance. From the outset, Curt Pringle & Associates led the land use entitlement process and community outreach, working closely with the City of Orange to ensure alignment between the City’s vision and the project’s needs. Our firm facilitated critical conversations between the developer, City staff, and community stakeholders—streamlining approvals and securing the support needed to bring this ambitious project to life.
Katella Terrace now stands as a testament to what’s possible when innovative housing solutions are paired with thoughtful leadership and strategic partnerships.
