FEMA statement on 100% cost share
FEMA issued a formal statement on February 3, regarding the federal cost share for COVID-19 public assistance disaster declarations, including DR-4480, the declaration for New York State (https://www.fema.gov/press-release/20210203/fema-statement-100-cost-share). This press release addresses the retroactive and prospective 100% federal cost shares authorized by President Biden and FEMA indicates they will issue an amended COVID-19 policy to implement this directive in the coming days. FEMA advises obligated projects will be updated from 75 percent to 100 percent federal cost share in the near future.
At this time, FEMA also advises they will fund vaccine distribution and administration-related project worksheets at 100 percent federal cost share for work conducted on and after January 21, 2021, until September 30, 2021. The most recent FEMA guidance related to vaccine distribution and administration is “COVID-19 Pandemic: Vaccination Planning FAQ” (see: https://www.fema.gov/sites/default/files/documents/fema_covid-19-vaccination-planning_faq_11-19-2020.pdf).
NYC Ballet Access Workshops are back on Feb. 25
The NYC Ballet is once again offering Virtual Access Workshops for children, teens, and adults with disabilities this winter with workshops beginning February 25.

Relationships for people with I/DD
CP State is honored to host a series on navigating dating and relationships for people with disabilities. These FREE sessions will begin on February 23 and are presented by Kathy O'Connell, Director of Radiant Abilities. Radiant Abilities provides resources and products for people with disabilities in the areas of self-esteem, relationships, and personal empowerment.
Free series on community building for people with I/DD continues February 17
CP State continues Dr. Al Condeluci's series on community building on Wednesday, February 17,at 10 a.m. with "Understanding the Social Infrastructure."
This session will go over strategies and actions that can soften the social infrastructure, the places and spaces where people engage in community, in welcoming all people.
Sessions continue through March:
• Understanding the Social Infrastructure – Wednesday, February 17 @ 10 a.m.
• MACRO CHANGE: The key to Community Success– Wednesday, March 3 @ 2:30 p.m.
• Session 6 (TBA) – Tuesday, March 16 @ 10 a.m.
• Session 7 (TBA) – Thursday, March 18 @ 10 a.m.
