2021 - Back in Person "ish"!
Like many of you, CPATH was grateful to rekindle some in-person events this past year. While we proceeded with a great deal of caution, it sure was amazing to be with so many of our families and community partners once again! Our year looked something like this...
CPals & Adaptive Sports: We went ice skating, wakeboarding, rock climbing, and learned a lot from our UT dental buddies' through a virtual series program.
Community CP Awareness: Many families came by for our March drive-thru event, over 70 people attended Morgan’s Wonderland in July, and our friends at
North Loop Home Slice Pizza hosted us for an amazing and inspiring World CP Day.
Camp CPals: We had 10 new families / 40 people attend our awesome adaptive weekend camp. We've hosted over 260 campers to date. THANK YOU Sponsors and Donors!!
Grant Program: We supported our community with 17 grants totaling over $8,000 this past year. We assisted with bathing equipment, pushchairs, transfer swings, position chairs, an adaptive bike, and helped with the relief of rent, utilities, and other necessities.
Equipment Closet: More than $1.5 MILLION dollars worth of equipment has been distributed back to our community through our Equipment Closet since 2019. The response and NEED of the Equipment Closet has been extraordinary. OH! We have so many dreams for this program!
Power Wheelchair Soccer Team: GOAL! The Green Machines are full speed ahead. They worked super hard in practices, had a fabulous scrimmage in San Antonio with the STRAPS, and were featured on KVUE Sports!! Thank you to our partner, Round Rock AIR, for supporting this program and more importantly, investing in our ATHLETES.
