A Message from the Executive Director
|
Dear Friends,
Although already a trend, the reversal of Roe v. Wade has sped up the push to make the abortion pill the new normal. Increased access to the abortion pill is troubling as we see firsthand the devastation it leaves behind.
Options@328 works with women who have changed their minds after taking the first abortion pill and want to reverse their abortion through medical intervention. For some, this process proves successful, and they go on to have healthy pregnancies. Other women are not so fortunate, and they suffer the consequences of abortion. The emotional turmoil our clients go through is difficult to witness. One woman was so traumatized by the experience of taking the abortion pill, she had not left her house in over a year. She came to Options@328 looking to "reverse" the emotional effects that it had on her. Thankfully, CPC was able to lead this woman to a post-abortive healing ministry to begin her recovery.
It is hard to believe how easy and casual abortion has now become. It is so important that we respond to the changing landscape of abortion and design services to reach these women. I am thankful for our dedicated and professional medical staff who provide these life-saving services in today's "throw-away" society. Options@328 is seeing tremendous growth in the delivery of these services. Leadership author John Maxwell once said, "Change is inevitable; growth is optional.” I am pleased to say that CPC is changing and growing! You, our faithful supporters, make that possible. Thank you for being part of it. Please continue to pray for these women. We know that God works all things together for the good, of those who love Him.
Speaking of growth, we have added a new member to CPC's Board of Directors. Allow me to formally introduce and welcome Jennifer Adamo, Ph.D., below.
With gratitude,
Gina Ruppert

Together they have five children and are parishioners of the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in North Baltimore.

More Women Are Choosing Abortion Pill Reversal at Options@328
|
|
Our nurse manager recently served "Sylvia,” who was looking for abortion pill reversal (APR) medication. Thankfully, her baby was saved, is healthy, and growing. Sylvia is now supported by her family while CPC continues to provide her with advocacy, online education, and baby essentials to help her prepare for the birth of her baby.
CPC saw a 300% increase in APR visits and phone support cases during this past fiscal year (7/1/21 - 6/30/22). We expect this number to continue to rise, given the expansion of abortion access in Maryland. Options@328 is the only APR provider in Baltimore City. We are ready to serve!

Our Mission
The Greater Baltimore Center for Pregnancy Concerns is a locally organized and funded volunteer ministry demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ by providing abortion alternatives to women who find themselves in the midst of an unplanned pregnancy. We service clients by addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. We also strive to provide accurate and complete information on prenatal development and abortion. We believe access to this information is needed in order to provide our clients with the facts, allowing them to make informed decisions. Ultimately, we desire to protect the physical, emotional, and spiritual health of our clients and their unborn children. We also provide emotional support and resources to any woman who comes to us having had an abortion. We believe our ministry to these and all women is to share the love of Jesus Christ.
