Worship with us every Sunday at 10 am.

All are welcome.

Dear CPC Family,

The big weekend is here! Tonight, I hope to see you at the Maundy Thursday soup supper at 6 p.m. and communion service at 7 p.m. We won't see each other again until Easter, with services at 6:30 a.m. (Falls Park) and 10:00 a.m. (CPC Sanctuary). Remember to extend an invitation to friends, neighbors, or family members; we will be ready to extend a warm welcome to all. You may be surprised to learn that I am expecting quite a few C.E.O's to make an appearance: that is, people who come on Christmas, Easter, and One other Sunday. (A little church humor there.)

Easter Sunday happens to fall on the first Sunday of the month this year, which means that we will share the Lord's Supper after having just shared it on Maundy Thursday: a beautiful picture, really, of how crucial community and faith is in our "Easter moments," when we feel joy, wonder, and hope, as well as in our "Maundy Thursday" times of fear and sadness. Christ is with us in the highs, the lows, and everything in between.

I know that some of you have had a "Maundy Thursday" kind of YEAR, facing illness, heartbreak, and loss, unsure of what the future holds. I pray that the story of Christ's death and resurrection speaks to you especially and gives you a living hope.

In Christ,

Betsey

Please note: the Sunrise Service will be held at Falls Park, not Q'emiln Park, as in recent years.

Please Share Easter Invites!

Please invite your family, friends and neighbors to our Easter services and potluck. All are welcome at CPC.

Be a part of making a BIG impact on the world God loves by giving to the One Great Hour of Sharing special offering on Palm Sunday or Easter.

  • Write a check payable to Community Presbyterian Church, with "One Great Hour of Sharing" or "OGHS" in the memo line. Use an OGHS envelope, now available in the pew racks or on the information table.
  • Give directly online through their secure website.
  • Collect spare change in a "Fish Bank" (available in the narthex) and bring it to the church on Easter.

Happy Birthday to our January, February and March "Birthday Babies!"

If you are a visitor or regular church attender, we would love to have you "make it official" and become a member of Christ's Body at CPC! Members tend to feel more plugged in to church life, are able to vote at important congregational meetings, and can serve in every capacity of the church -- deacons, elders, and all committees. Here at CPC, our New Member Classes are FUN and relatively short; they are a great time to get to know a small group of people and interact with Pastor Betsey and a few of our elders. ALL are welcome to become members; sign up in the Fellowship Hall!

Gathered to Grow: CPC's Elders and Deacons

Nurtured and Challenged at Annual Retreat

Fourteen of your elected officers gathered last Saturday at CPC for worship, getting better acquainted, learning, praying, and visioning. Be in prayer for our leaders, as they are in prayer for you! Watch the e-news in coming months for an elder or deacon Spotlight so that you can get to know these leaders who are committed to serving, growing, and loving in Post Falls.

by bringing donations to CPC

Every month we have a suggested focus (provided to us from 3rd Ave Marketplace) for our donations, but any and all donations are welcome at any time. Thank you for your generosity.

Fun Fact! CPC was used for the filming of the video that will be shown at the Family Promise of North Idaho's Starry Night fundraising event! (see below for event details)
