FEBRUARY 2020
A MESSAGE from GINA
As the new Executive Director of CPC, I am very excited to take on the challenges that lies ahead. My first impression of CPC is that we have been blessed in so many ways. From our loyal staff, dedicated volunteers, and generous donors, it is easy to see God’s hand in this ministry. I have already met some of our faithful supporters, and I look forward to meeting each and every one of you.
I come to CPC from a diverse background of non-profit and ministry work. My connection to CPC was through overseeing an annual baby bottle campaign at my children’s school for the last 15 years. I also have been an active member of the Respect Life group in my home church. My husband and I are proud parents of 6 children in a family blessed by adoption. Our family has participated in the annual March for Life in Washington, DC for many years and chaperoned groups of children from our church. My involvement with pro-life causes has been life-long.

Everyone associated with CPC is excited about the opening this summer of our new location at 328 N. Howard Street. So many of you have supported this project financially and in prayer. The new location will position us to reach more women who feel that abortion is their only choice. We will be able to provide a safe place, a listening ear, pregnancy testing, sonograms, and counseling to women who may not have anywhere else to turn. The ministry we are able to provide is an extension of your love and support. I want to say thank you to all of the individuals, churches, businesses, and organizations that contribute in any way to extend the Love of Christ to pregnant women.

Look for messages from me in future newsletters.

Best, GINA

VOLUNTEER Spotlight
Earn While You Learn Sewing Classes at Essex
Meet Darlene Zeiler, our Earn While You Learn (EWYL) sewing instructor in Essex. Darlene has been teaching CPC moms for over seven years. She always has a smile and a gracious spirit. Darlene gives guidance to moms on how to select a project and the best way to put it together. Last month you saw the blanket Monica created from her son's receiving blankets, only one example of the many sewing projects.

Darlene's love for sewing started early. She was sewing and cutting fabric by age 4! When asked what she likes most about teaching EWYL classes she quickly responded, "Getting to know all of these special moms!"

Darlene you are a blessing to CPC! Thank you for all of your efforts.
