A Message from Our Executive Director

Dear Friends,
Now that the summer is winding down and schools are in session, I wanted to let you know that my staff and I are praying that your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will have a safe, healthy, and enjoyable year.
It's important that I be the first to share that news that CPC (like everyone else) was ready to say farewell to COVID-19, and we began planning for our Fall Fundraising Dinner over the summer. I'm sad to share the news that the Delta variant has changed our plans and once again, we must cancel the Fall Fundraising Dinner. Please read more about that below as we are working to develop creative ways to raise funds and meet new faces on a smaller scale.
We have been blessed to see an increase in client calls and online appointments at our medical services facility, Options@328. CPC is working with a company that specializes in client website creation, search engine optimization (SEO), and Google ads, specifically for pregnancy centers throughout the US. This work has driven many more women to our client website, www.optionsbaltimore.org. The agency we are working with, to reach abortion minded women online, services hundreds of pro-life pregnancy centers around the country. We need to see these women in order to reach them with life-affirming choices and develop trusting relationships. This new website is reaching the people we need to see!
Also, we are close to filling two new part-time staff positions: a bilingual client advocate and a certified sonographer. I hope to have these employees start next month! I look forward to introducing them to you in an upcoming newsletter.
This month we are also launching our flower petal sale for a new Supporter Wall that will be positioned in the client waiting area at Options@328. Friends and supporters can purchase a flower petal to be engraved with your family name or in honor/memory of a loved one. Check out the details below.
Finally, we completed filming for our new CPC video, thanks to Storia Studio. We can't wait to share the finished product with you soon!
God has great plans for CPC. Although our ideas for gathering have changed due to the pandemic, we pray that He will provide for us. Please be sure to read more about some of the alternative ways you can still support CPC and help grow our ministry so we can thrive. Thank you for your continued prayers and support. We need every one of them!
Every good wish,
Gina Ruppert, Executive Director

Pray for the Sancity of Life
|
|
Heavenly Father,
You are Creator of all and the Giver of life. You have created humankind in your image to reflect your glory to the world, and we praise you for the work your hands have done. We mourn that many of your precious sons and daughters have lost their lives too soon. We grieve their absence today and every day.
We are broken people, and we have all sinned against you in so many ways, and we pray that today and each day would be a day of repentance and forgiveness. We humbly come before you knowing that all of us have fallen short of your glory, and we ask that you would forgive us of our sins through the blood of Jesus Christ. Restore us to right relationship with you. Open our eyes, our hearts, our minds, and our hands as we seek to serve you and glorify you through our love for one another. Transform us into new creations. May we truly be your hands and feet in our world, serving others like Jesus came to serve, loving others like we are to love ourselves.
Jesus, you made a way for us where there seemed to be no way. We pray today that you would breathe new life into us. We pray you would increase our empathy, compassion, and love for our neighbors, no matter their age, race, ability, background, or need. We pray we would be people whose hearts echo your own heart for your people—be our strength, Holy Spirit.
Help us to be champions of life, Jesus. Strengthen us and equip us to do your work in our communities, our nations, our world. May we stand for what you have taught us, and may we give you glory in all that we do.
We love you and praise you on this day and every day, Lord. Thank you for the gift of life. Help us to protect and preserve it in every way we can. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In your holy and mighty name, Amen.

A Grateful Client's Message to our Donors
|
|
After much deliberation from our administrative staff and board, CPC has made the difficult decision to cancel our annual Fall Fundraising Dinner slated for early November.
We are deeply saddened that we will not be gathering together for the 2nd year in a row.
As you know, the goal of our annual fundraising dinner is to invite many new friends to enjoy a meal, meet current supporters, and learn about our ministry in the hopes of gaining new donors to keep CPC thriving. We believe this Fall is no longer an opportune time to welcome new friends to a large, indoor dinner, only to have them distanced and masked. We don't want to risk illness to others.
Since we still need to raise funds to support our ministry and fund our operational expenses, please consider making a donation today or in the near future. The financial goal for the Fall Fundraising Dinner was $100,000. CPC will be hosting smaller, more intimate dinners and gatherings. Read more about them below.

Similar to the "Table Host" concept, CPC is requesting our current supporters invite a group of friends, who are new to CPC and have the ability to become regular donors, to your home to watch the new CPC video when it's ready to be shared.
Perhaps you could gather before a football game, on a Friday night, or after Church services so new friends can learn about us. We can provide you with our literature to aid you on speaking on our behalf. Or you can provide us with their contact information and we can reach out to them. This is perfect for friends, associates, and family who don't know about the good work we do!
Interested? Contact Paula by calling 443-884-9208 or send her an email.

Two more options to help us raise fund are to invite your friends to tour our medical services facility, Options@328, or to co-host a small dinner party for friends. Dinner parties could be at your home or at another home (Several CPC friends have offered to make theirs available for this purpose.)

The Greater Baltimore Center for Pregnancy Concerns is a locally organized and funded volunteer ministry demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ by providing abortion alternatives to women who find themselves in the midst of an unplanned pregnancy. We service clients by addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. We also strive to provide accurate and complete information on prenatal development and abortion. We believe access to this information is needed in order to provide our clients with the facts, allowing them to make informed decisions. Ultimately, we desire to protect the physical, emotional, and spiritual health of our clients and their unborn children. We also provide emotional support and resources to any woman who comes to us having had an abortion. We believe our ministry to these and all women is to share the love of Jesus Christ.
