On Easter, when the disciples first realized they were seeing Jesus alive and well when He should have been in the grave it took a while to sink in... but once it did, everything changed. What was it about Jesus that was so unique and why would people like us who live on the other side of the world two thousand years after he lived still need Him today?

Young Adults Bible Study. You're invited to a new Bible Study! Looking for a place to connect with others and dive into Scripture? We’re launching a new Young Adult Bible Study on Thursday nights starting April 24th from 7:00-8:30.p.m. in the Reston/Herndon area, and we’d love for you to be a part of it! Whether you’ve been studying the Bible for years or are just starting, this is a group for you. Together, we’ll explore the Word, ask questions, and grow in our faith. Interested? Men’s Gettysburg Battlefield Trip. Next Saturday, the men’s ministry will be taking a day trip to the Gettysburg Battlefield. We will leave the church at 7am, drive to the battle field where our expert guides will give us a tour, and we will finish up in PA around 5:00pm. Staying for dinner is optional. The trip is free with the exception of food costs. Register here

CPCKids Camp 2025. Registration is open! Let's have mountains of fun at CPCKids Camp 2025, July 8th - 11th, 9:30am-12pm. At our 4-day camp, True North, kids (PreK-5th grades) will discover that they can trust Jesus in our wild world. It sure is wild, isn’t it? Each day will be filled with memorable Bible-learning experiences, hands-on science experiments, team-building games, and unforgettable Bible songs that will help faith flow into real life. 4th - 6th graders, our last Fun Friday of the school year is May 2nd. Come to Fun Friday “Late Night” when we extend our time until 9pm and invite rising 4th graders to come check out how we put the FUN in Fun Friday. Be sure to bring a water bottle and invite your friends. CPCKids Update For Easter. On Easter Sunday, April 20th, we’ll celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with worship services at 9am and 11am. Nursery will be provided at both services. At the 11am service, there will be class for PreK-K only. We welcome 1st - 5th grades in worship for Easter Sermon Bingo.

Would you consider signing up to bring a breakfast item to help fuel our 55 amazing teen and adult leaders at CPCKids Camp (July 8th - 11th) each morning? Do you garden? CPC’s vegetable garden is ready for planting! Would you be interested in growing your own vegetables but do not have space at home? God’s Garden has a plot for you! The beds have been refurbished, thanks to Eric Herzberg. Grow your own food and donate extras to a neighbor, food pantry, or others in need. Contact Lucille for more info.

Camp Highroad Day. Rising 4th - 6th graders, registration is open for our adventure day, August 4th, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, at Camp Highroad in Middleburg, VA. We will be doing a challenge course, rock wall, hayride, and zip line! We will meet at CPC at 9:00 am and travel together in the church van so we have limited spots.
