Disaster Relief to NC:  We are returning to the Asheville area of NC October 26-31 to help with relief efforts from hurricane Helene.  The restoration work will take between 3 and 5 years for the area to recover.  We are taking a team of 14 people.  This is an intergenerational missions opportunity. Men’s Cookout and Cornhole Tournament: Get ready, gentlemen—the most prestigious cornhole championship in all of Centreville is back! Join us for our annual Men’s BBQ & Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, August 23rd from 11:00 AM to around 1:30 PM. Come hungry, come competitive, and come ready to hang out with a great crew. As always, we could use some extra hands for setup, cleanup, grilling, bringing cornhole boards, and of course—officiating the intense bracket battles. If you've got the time, we've got a spot for you!

Need for Pot Roasts: Each month, CPC provides a warm, homemade meal of pot roasts for the Lamb Center, a day shelter serving homeless men and women in our community. We’re looking for 13 volunteers to prepare roasts for Tuesday, August 19 — and we’d love your help! You can bring your fully assembled roast to church on Sunday, August 17, or deliver it hot to CPC by 10:00 AM on August 17. A simple, crowd-pleasing recipe is available by clicking below.

Following Jesus: The Gospel of Luke: Join us this fall as we begin our Sunday morning classes by exploring the life, teachings, miracles, and mission of Jesus Christ. Whether you’re new to the Bible or seeking to grow in your faith, this class offers a chance to dig deep into God's Word — asking hard questions and learning what it means to follow Jesus. Fall Women’s Bible Study: Ladies, please join us for our Fall Bible Study as we dive into the book of Romans starting Wednesday, September 10th at either 9:30 am or 7:00 pm here at the church. We’ll be continuing in the Flourish series as we mine the rich truths to be found in such a powerful book. Whether you have Romans memorized or have never even read a verse of it, this study is for you. There is power in learning and growing together. London Towne Elementary School: Each week during the school year, a faithful group of people pack 90 bags of food so that children from the Title 1 program at London Towne Elementary School can have food for the weekend. Each bag costs only $3.75 but makes a huge difference for the child. This comes to about $1,328 per month. Life Groups & Bible Studies – Fall Launch: A brand-new season of Life Groups and Bible Studies is kicking off the week of September 7th, and we couldn’t be more excited to invite you in. Whether you’ve been a part of a group before or this is your very first time, there’s a seat for you. These groups are more than just weekly meetings—they’re a place to laugh, learn, ask questions, build friendships, and explore what it really means to follow Jesus together. Along the way, we’ll share meals, stories, prayers, and lots of encouragement. So don’t just go to church—be the church.
