God On The Battlefield: Our faith in Christ transforms every area of life. Join us on June 29th at 10:30am in room 201 for a special seminar where two veterans share about the experience of serving in combat zones and coming back home. How does faith in God shape how soldiers face the challenges of war and readjust to life afterwards.

Mike Kershner served 27 years as a Green Beret rising to the rank of Colonel and serving as deputy commanding officer of U.S. Army Special Forces Command (Airborne). Steve Powell served seven tours as a member of Air Force Special Forces (JSOC), and was awarded the bronze star.

Women’s Summer Study: Ladies, this summer, women will be gathering in small group home settings to discuss The Practice of the Presence of God. If you are interested in hosting, facilitating or simply participating, please contact Amy McMillan and she’ll get you connected.

Serve at CPC: God has given each of us time and talents, and using them to serve others is one of the most meaningful ways we can glorify Him. At CPC, there are plenty of opportunities to jump in—whether it’s helping with kids, welcoming guests, supporting behind the scenes, or serving during worship.

There’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to serving at CPC, and there’s definitely a spot that fits you. If you’re ready to get plugged in or just want to learn more, stop by the welcome desk or reach out to the church office. We’d love to help you find your place!

Need for Pot Roasts: Each month, CPC provides a warm, homemade meal of pot roasts for the Lamb Center, a day shelter serving homeless men and women in our community. We’re looking for 13 volunteers to prepare roasts for Tuesday, July 15 — and we’d love your help! You can bring your fully assembled roast to church on Sunday, July 13, or deliver it hot to CPC by 10:00 AM on June 17. A simple, crowd-pleasing recipe is available by clicking below.

Guatemala Missions team 2025. Our team is getting ready to leave in a few weeks.  We will build 2 houses, provide 6 wheelchairs for children, and help at an orphanage.  We have compiled an “Amazon wish list” of items we need for the trip.  Please take a look at the list and if there is anything you can provide, it will help us greatly. Just contact Lucille Marciano if you have any questions.

Mountain View High School Award Scholarship. Each year, CPC awards a scholarship to a graduating student from Mountain View High School for excellence in community service.   This year, the award was given to Julia DeVera who, in spite of health challenges, used those barriers as a way to give back to the community.  That’s our Bill Hudspeth making the presentation!
