Recognize an HR colleague for their outstanding work!

The Cheers from Peers program is a new initiative of CPHR Alberta. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we decided in the spring to cancel our regular Excellence Awards program for 2020 as the inability to properly recognize recipients was of concern for us.

It is important to CPHR Alberta that we still recognize the impactful and innovative work done by our members throughout the first half of 2020. This year has been unusual for HR professionals and demanded individuals be nimble, creative and fast-moving to keep up with the constant changes the world of work is experiencing.

Program details:
  • The nomination process is quick and straightforward.
  • The deadline for nominations is August 21, 2020
  • The recipients will be selected by the current Awards Selection Committee.
  • Recipients will be recognized through a social media campaign in the Fall of 2020.

All CPHR Alberta members from across Alberta, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut qualify for recognition.
In Spring 2020, we launched our Campus Ambassador Pilot Program. The initial pilot was a huge success, and we are proud to be offering this unique opportunity again!

Campus Ambassadors are liaisons between CPHR Alberta and student life on campus. They spread the word of events, the CPHR designation, and grow the brand of the Association within their campus communities.

Click here to learn more about the Campus Ambassador program, including eligibility. Applications are now open and close September 18, 2020.
