OMH is pleased to announce the first in a series of anti-oppression virtual trainings for the crisis services workforce: Positively Disrupting Implicit Bias.

This 1.5 hour training will prepare the crisis workforce with strategies and tactics to implement when witnessing bias or discrimination. We have heard the term "implicit bias" before, but what does it mean and how does it relate to the crisis work that we do? The research tells us that we all have bias, but how it shows up depends on your history, life experiences and your identity. This workshop will ground you in definitions, broader understandings of implicit bias and strategies to mitigate bias.
