Three new online training modules are now available to you in CPI’s learning management system:

How to Detect and Diagnose Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder: Tips and Tools. This course will review how to detect and diagnose OCD in adults and children. Participants will understand the importance of making a differential diagnosis and how to identify common comorbid disorders.

Exposure and Response Prevention: A Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder: This course will describe why Exposure and Response Prevention (EX/RP), an evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy, is a first-line treatment for OCD in adults and children.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Schizophrenia-Spectrum Disorders. How to Differentiate and Treat. This course will provide clinicians with information about OCD and schizophrenia-spectrum disorders. Participants will be able to describe OCD and schizophrenia and how they differ in their clinical presentation and treatment.
These three courses are packaged as a curriculum in the CPI learning management system. The curriculum provides 1.5 self-study contact hours of Social Work, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and CASAC Continuing Education and is an enduring material available for a maximum of 1.5 hours of Continuing Medical Education (CME).

Pharmacological Treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Nuts and Bolts. This course outlines evidence-based techniques for working with patients to choose an appropriate medication and dosing for the treatment of OCD and when and how to augment or switch medications if necessary. This course is an enduring material available for a maximum of 0.5 hours of Continuing Medical Education (CME).
