Miami, Florida - December 8, 2017 -
The College Prep Invitational has added three more clinic sessions to the Friday, January 12 schedule based on overwhelming response to the pre-show mounted clinics. Now 27 of the nearly 100 students on the waiting list will be able to take part in the clinics, which are organized by division and led by Centenary University IHSA Team Coach and Professor, Michael Dowling.
Riders will be selected in the order they were placed on the waiting list for each section. The now eligible riders will be notified via email. Those being accepted from the waiting list will be placed into the morning clinics.
Times for the 3 morning clinic sessions are as follows:
9:00 AM - 10:15 AM - Open Division Clinic
10:15 AM - 11:30 AM - Intermediate Division Clinic
11:30 AM - 12:45 PM - Novice Division Clinic
All CPI attendees are encouraged to audit the clinics, which take place on Friday during the College Prep Invitational horse show weekend, January 12-14, 2018, at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center in Palm Beach, FL.
The CPI is a three-day event designed to educate student riders about the different formats of college equestrian competitions and provide riders with resources to help them create their desired college equestrian experience. Riders in grades 8 through 12 have a chance to win scholarships in hunt seat equitation competition and participate in educational presentations throughout the event. In an effort to encourage academic excellence and embed social integrity as a lifelong commitment to the equestrian sport, the CPI Scholarship and Educational Fund also awards riders the opportunity to win scholarships for academics and community service.
