CPK Hosting Soft and Grand Openings

this Week 

The new CPK in Laguna Niguel at 27430 La Paz Road is hosting a soft opening with a limited menu for lunch and dinner today and tomorrow (October 18) where all food is complimentary, according to a restaurant official. 


Beverages are not complimentary, however. The event is benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. If you would like to attend the Friends and Family Soft Opening, RSVP at 949-696-5520. Spaces are limited.


The eatery will officially open to the public on October 19.

Applications Due Friday for Childcare Grant Relief Program

 

The Childcare Grant Relief Program is available to qualified childcare businesses and non-profit organizations located within the Fifth District, which includes Laguna Niguel, that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Grants of up to $8,000 are available for licensed small and large family childcare and up to $15,000 for licensed childcare centers and group care providers serving school-age children up to 12 years old. Funding can be used for eligible expenses such as technology, classroom supplies and learning materials.

 

The program will be administered by Charitable Ventures, and applications will be accepted through Friday, October 21.

Support Our Troops and Local Businesses

The Laguna Niguel Military Support Committee on Thursday, October 20 will host the “Taste for the Troops” fundraiser to support City’s adopted military units and their families.


The event is from 6-9 pm at the Crown Valley Community Center and will feature tastes of signature dishes from dozens of local restaurants, craft beer and wine, live music, and silent auction items.


Tickets are available for purchase. All event proceeds will benefit the troops and families of the USS Stockdale, 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, and 1st Assault Helicopter Battalion, 140th Aviation Regiment. The Taste is also a great way to support several participating Laguna Niguel businesses.

10th Annual Women Business Owner Conference
