American Solutions for Business VP of Sales Inducted into Ben Franklin Honor Society
Glenwood, MN  ASB's VP of Sales, Rob Whitman, was recently inducted into the Ben Franklin Honor Society by Printing Industries of America. According to the organization, the award "recognizes and honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement and betterment of the printing and graphic communications industry through meritorious service (paid or unpaid)."
Rob Whitman has been in the print industry for over 35 years, being recruited in 1984 off the LaSalle College (now University, where he graduated. Since then, he has worked for several companies, including roles as the President of Innovative Print & Media Group and CEO of Everest Sales & Marketing. Rob joined American Solutions for Business three years ago and has been a vital member of the leadership team.
"ASB has such a unique approach as a company and each sales associate has their own vision of what they want to be and to achieve for themselves and their customers," said Whitman. "Our model of supporting the sales associates as our clients has enabled me to become more of a servant leader focused on helping others achieve their vision of greatness. I like creating and contributing to winning business and I like helping others to reach their best. American has allowed me the format to utilize my best skills and experience."

Towel Specialties wins industry accolades
from two major organizations

Baltimore, MD  - Towel Specialties was the proud recipient of awards for decorating on textiles from both PPAI and SGIA (Specialty Graphic Imaging Association) in the last thirty days.

In October, Towel Specialties was awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze Honors in the 'Excellence in Digital Decorating on Textiles" category by SGIA at their annual conference in New Orleans, LA. Although this was the third time that Towel Specialties swept the awards, it was the first time that they won with sublimated blanket and beach towel submissions. It also represented the tenth time Towel Specialties has won the Gold Award since 1998.

Towel Specialties also received a Silver Pyramid Award from PPAI for "Printing on Textiles". The submitted winner was a sublimated blanket with graphics for "Toy Story 4." Towel Specialties previously received three other Pyramid Awards for either screen printing or sublimation on beach towels.

"We have a very dedicated team of professionals. Several of them have been with us since we won our first SGIA award in 1998. Everyone loves the challenge of taking artwork from clients and producing results that that exceed expectations," said Murray Siegel, Marketing Director at Towel Specialties. Rodd Steuart Name COO of HPG
Braintree, MA  To ensure continuity in the development and execution of current projects and long-term operating objectives, HPG (HUB Promotional Group) announced the promotion of Rodd Steuart to Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately.Formerly president of HandStands Promo, an HPG company,Rodd will take on an enterprise role as the new Chief Operating Officer for all of HPG. The promotion backfills the COO role vacated by Chris Anderson, when he became CEO of HPG in June of 2019.
Rodd Steuart states, "Having been a part of HPG for nearly a year now, I know the talent and opportunity that exists here at HPG and am excited to build upon the amazing foundation in place and humbled to by the opportunity to lead an incredible group of operations professionals. Sarah Louden Promoted to VP of Human Resources at American Solutions for Business
Glenwood, MN  - American Solutions for Business is pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2020, Sarah Louden will be promoted to Vice President of Human Resources.
Louden joined the company in July as ASB's Executive Director of Human Resources under Katie Hallstrom, VP of Human Resources. Hallstrom will now transition to working part time in the department in her new role as Director of Human Resources.
We are delighted to have Sarah on our Senior Leadership Team," says Justin Zavadil, ASB President. "Her knowledge and experience are instrumental in improving the lives of our employees and her personality is a perfect fit for our quest to have the best culture in the world! Optimistic about the future, Louden has set strategic goals for herself and department to ensure ASB is best positioned for growth and development.

Debco's Alex Morin Promoted to VP of Sales for Origaudio, HandStands and Debco
Braintree, MA  HUB Promotional Group (HPG) is pleased to announce the promotion of Alex Morin, of its Debco subsidiary, to Vice President of Sales for HPG companies Origaudio, Handstands and Debco. He will report directly to Trina Bicknell, HPG Senior VP of Sales, who states, 
"I am so excited to see Alex assume this larger HPG role, and know he is going to be an incredible asset to our distributor partners, the overall business."
Morin has been with Canada's largest supplier of promotional hard goods, Debco, since 2005, where he most recently served as Senior VP of Sales and Marketing for the company, overseeing global sales and marketing. "I've been so fortunate to have worked with many of the brightest minds in the industry; learning how to employ creativity, empathy, and logic to my craft," says Morin.
"When we were acquired by HPG, I was excited about the opportunities granted by the much larger platform that we joined," Morin states.
