Thank you for attending the CPPA Winter Expo!

We had a great time in paradise last week at our Winter Expo!
Four cities, four awesome regional associations and one very fun theme!
From Connecticut to Chesapeake and NYC to Drexel Hill, we had you covered!
Chesapeake Promotional Products Association (CPPA), New England Promotional Products Association (NEPPA), Philadelphia Area Promotional Products Association (PAPPA), and Specialty Advertising Association of Greater New York (SAAGNY) are proud to announce the success of our second annual Power of District “1” Show collaboration which was held January 30 - February 2 with over 650 combined distributor attendees.
CPPA, NEPPA, PAPPA, and SAAGNY, all members of District 1’s regional association community, have worked together to foster communication and cooperation between our associations and our community of members which allows us to connect and share best practices amongst the Northeast geographical region of our industry. This year a common theme of "Promotions in Paradise" was shared to create a fun experience for all.
Each day of the week, each regional hosted a hot topic education session about Cyber Security which was presented by speakers Jon Norris and Eric Alessi from PromoStandards. Those attending the CPPA education session were entered into a drawing to win a margarita machine which Corina Peacock with SpecWorks, Inc. walked away as the lucky winner. Congratulations Corina!

|
Immediately after the education session, the show opened and was busy from the “get go” with a line of distributors checking in when the doors opened and staying for the majority of the entire show. There were 217 distributors in attendance who saw lots of great product from all our wonderful exhibitors and several door prizes were given away during the day which enhanced the fun.

|
The energy was spectacular during the entire event, and it was clear people were happy to be together rekindling those Distributor/Supplier partnerships and friendships.
To cap off the show series, Promocations has partnered with CPPA, NEPPA, PAPPA, and SAAGNY in our Power Of 1 show week by giving away one Supplier and one Distributor spot on their inaugural PromoCruise! Members of each regional association that attended or exhibited at the shows have been provided to Promocations and the winner will be announced during a live Facebook drawing on Friday, 2/10/23 at 12pm Eastern. To watch the live drawing and to see if you are one of the lucky winners, make sure to visit their Facebook page during the live drawing at: www.facebook.com/Promocations.
Thank you to all our Supplier, Multi-line Rep and Distributor members for making this event a huge success! 2023 is off to a great start!

2023 CPPA Cares Philanthropy Selection
CPPA Cares is proud to announce our 2023 Philanthropy selection.....
JustLiving Advocacy, Inc.
JustLiving Advocacy, Inc's mission is to improve the quality of life for impoverished single mothers with sustainable resources, that are needed to become economically self-sufficient and to improve their health and educational outcomes for themselves and their children.
They believe that access to affordable childcare is the ramp that provides equal access to the workforce for single parents, especially women-led households. With the cost of living so high, it can often be difficult to make ends meet if you have a child in preschool or daycare. They know how hard it can be to maintain employment and keep your childcare. JustLiving Advocacy understands these struggles and is available to support families through their services.
Stay tuned for more information about our plans to assist this wonderful organization with their 2023 goals. We will be supporting them at our events, posting awareness on our social media channels and providing volunteer opportunities when available at their events.

5 Ways You Should Be Using Technology to Unlock Growth (and Stay Afloat) This Year
Peter Coppinger * Entrepreneur Leadership Network Contributor * CEO & Co-Founder of Teamwork.com.
In 2023, there's no shortcut to working hard — but with smart systems and processes in place, you at least have a chance to spend your time on the activities that have the potential to move the needle and, as a result, move you into the next stage of growth.
"Work smarter, not harder." The harsh reality is that you will have to do both if you want your business to stay alive in 2023.
With the changing world of work, your team is already feeling the pressure — or, more likely, they've been feeling it for the past three years: managing multiple projects at once with higher client expectations and shorter deadlines and trying to strike a balance between productivity and burnout, all while making your wildest agency dreams come true.
But, this year, the thing that will separate who survives and who thrives will come down to one word: technology.
As someone who wanted to grow my business but wasn't sure how, I can confidently say having the right integrated tech tools in place is essential if you really want to quell the chaos and unlock growth.
