Each year, CPPA proudly presents the Peake Awards to honor excellence and creativity in our association and industry. Awards are presented in categories that recognize individuals, companies and promotional campaigns.


Do you have a promotional product campaign/program that you developed this year that you would like to submit? We would love to recognize your creativity and honor you at our awards ceremony which will be held in conjunction with our Holiday party on 12/7/23.


CPPA Excellence in Promotions Campaigns are awarded in the following categories: 

  • Client Programs: Business-to-Business Programs, Consumer Programs, Promotional Programs Developed as a Result of a Distributor/Supplier Collaboration, Employee Incentive Programs, Internal Communication Programs
  • Marketing Programs: Educational Programs, Sales Incentive Programs, Tradeshow/Exhibit Traffic Programs, Health/Wellness Programs, Goodwill Programs
  • Technology Programs: Applications/Website/Online tools, Social Media presence/content, Virtual meeting content/Best in class 
  • Diversity, Environmental and Social Compliance: Diversity and Social Responsibility Programs, Activism/Political/Legislative Programs, Recycling/Green Programs, Not-For-Profit Programs, International Programs


All promotional products campaigns/programs must be developed and conducted between November 1st, 2022 and October 31st, 2023. Each entry must be a single program utilizing at least one, or more imprinted promotional product either exclusively, or in conjunction with other media.


All campaigns/programs will be evaluated and winners determined by an independent panel of industry professionals outside of the CPPA membership and then announced at our Holiday party/Peake Awards Celebration on 12/7/23.

American Solutions for Business Holds Photo Contest for Promotional Products Work! Day


Glenwood, MN – American Solutions for Business recently participated in PPAI’s Promotional Products Work! Day, hosting a company-wide photo contest. Submissions were received from multiple departments across ASB, and prizes were sponsored by some of ASB’s Patriot-level vendors.

 

Promotional Products Work! Day serves as a celebration of the promotional products industry's impact on businesses and communities across the nation. The top five winners, and the prizes they won are:

  • Sales Associate, Lauren Kovach – cast iron skillet from Starline; gift card from SanMar

Social Media Fraud Is On the Rise — And Even the Most Savvy Are Getting Scammed

One in four individuals who reported being scammed since 2021 said it originated on social media, amounting to $2.7 billion in losses, per the FTC.

 

Social media use can provide a slew of opportunities — from furthering your career to cataloging memories to finding love and friendships. However, it can also offer opportunities for criminals, like scamming and defrauding.


According to a new report by the Federal Trade Commission, one in four individuals who reported losing money due to fraud since 2021 said that the scam began on social media.


The cumulative losses reported from these schemes during the same period have amounted to $2.7 billion, the report found, eclipsing any other communication method by a considerable margin. By comparison, the losses from websites or apps were $2 billion for the same period, phone calls were $1.9 billion, and email was $0.9 billion. Read More
