Medical Staff Responsibilities 
for Physician Health

Hospitals and medical groups are the first to observe a potentially impairing condition and the first who can respond with early intervention and protection of patients.

There is a core body of information on effective management of such situations, and CPPPH has organized the material into this series of videoconferences.

The series begins on September 17.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

The sessions are open to all involved in physician health activities. They will have particular relevance for those who may be new to leadership, new to a peer review role in the medical staff or medical group, or new to a role with a wellbeing committee.

FEES

Registration fee is $795 for 6 sessions, with a reduced fee for additional persons from the same hospital/group who register at the same time on the same registration form.

There is no registration for a single session. Registration will remain open throughout the series and registrations will be accepted for the remaining sessions, but the fee will not be reduced.

Registrants can request a recording of the sessions.

There is an additional fee for a certificate that documents attendance for CME reporting purposes.

Note that the registration form includes the option to pay an additional $75 fee for those who wish to apply now for the CPPPH Certificate of Achievement. Or, applications can be submitted during the series at any time.

Cancellation and refunds: For cancellations requested by email to CPPPH1@amgroup.us before September 15, 2026 @ 11:59pm (PT), the registration fee can be transferred to a future program or to another person, or refunds minus a $25 fee can be made. The request for cancellation should include your choice among those options. No refunds will be made after September 15, 2026.

CPPPH CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT

CPPPH offers a certificate to those who wish to document their knowledge of the basic principles and core content for making wellbeing committees function effectively. Those who participate in the full series of videoconferences become eligible to apply; there is a $75 per person application fee. Certificates are awarded to those who attend the sessions and successfully complete a post-test.

You have the option to apply and pay the $75 fee with the registration for this series or to apply and pay after you have begun attending the sessions.

For hospitals and medical groups, there is recognition of their support for healthy doctors with a CPPPH Certificate of Commitment when persons from three or more different areas of the leadership receive a Certificate of Achievement.
