CPS Dean Liesl Riddle speaks at the CPS Celebration May 20 in Washington, DC. | |
I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. The end of the academic year provided our community with many opportunities to celebrate the hard work of our students, faculty and staff.
Our Commencement ceremony was a resounding success! Over 400 College of Professional Studies 2023 graduates joined the network of more than 320,000 GW alumni around the globe. It was a joy to see the glowing faces and shake the hands of each of our graduates as they walked across the stage, and it was incredibly heartwarming to meet so many of our graduates’ family members and friends. Our commencement team staff did an excellent job of ensuring that the event was special and memorable for all.
| |
We also celebrated the 35th anniversary of the founding of The Graduate School of Professional Studies (GSPM) at our annual GSPM Toast the Network event. This event brought together community members to network and forge new connections and to recognize this year’s winners of the GSPM Alumni Achievement Award. The evening was a testament to the strength of our GSPM community and the power of collaboration.
I hope everyone has a great and productive summer! Our monthly newsletter will return in August as our CPS community embarks upon another exciting year.
