A MESSAGE FROM THE DEAN

Dear Students, Faculty, Staff, and Members of our Community,

What an exciting start to the semester! Our first month has been packed with signature events that have brought incredible conversations, opportunities, and those unforgettable GW-only moments. From Mark Penn’s Presidential Pollsters session at the Hall of the States to partnering with Anthony Shop’s Social Driver for the Chief Influencer podcast, which filled the Churchill Room at Gelman Library with Terry Szuplat, former speechwriter for President Obama—this month has been remarkable.

And of course, we were deeply honored to host Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro as he received the GSPM Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award.

I can't wait to see more of our community participating in these events that continue to inspire and engage us all. Be sure to check out our upcoming events calendar, including our Professional Access Roundtable series, the 14th GW Ethics in Publishing Conference and the GW Paralegal Studies Quarterly Legal Brief.

Let’s keep up this incredible momentum going forward as we have our Alumni & Families Weekend Oct. 18-20, 2024! I highly encourage you to join us for breakfast hosted by the College of Professional Studies Dean's Office. This gathering offers a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with the college's staff and faculty while enjoying a delicious breakfast bar.

Whether you want to connect with alumni, learn about exciting new initiatives, or simply start your day with great company, this breakfast is the perfect occasion.

See you soon!
